I am a clinical psychologist specializing in trauma, anxiety, and depth-oriented therapy for individuals struggling with emotional and relational patterns. I received my doctorate in clinical psychology from Long Island University, C.W. Post, and completed advanced training through the VA system, including a fellowship in LGBTQ+ Health.
Many of my clients come to therapy because they feel stuck in ways they struggle to fully understand. On the outside, they may appear thoughtful, capable, and highly functioning, yet internally they feel anxious, emotionally disconnected, divided against themselves, or caught in patterns they cannot think their way out of. Others find themselves repeating the same relational dynamics despite years of insight and self-awareness.
My practice is grounded in deep, transformative work. Rather than focusing solely on symptom relief, I help clients explore and process the underlying experiences that shaped how they learned to protect themselves, relate to others, and move through the world. Therapy can become a space where previously hidden, disconnected, or burdened parts of the self begin to feel understood, integrated, and less alone.
My therapeutic style is relational, emotionally attuned, and grounded in evidence-based methods. I specialize in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy and integrate approaches informed by trauma research, attachment theory, mindfulness, and parts-focused work. I am also an EMDRIA-approved EMDR therapy consultant and provide training and mentorship to other therapists pursuing advanced trauma work.
I know—both professionally and personally—that emotional suffering does not mean something is wrong with you. Often, it reflects ways the mind and body adapted in order to survive. With the right support, it becomes possible not only to reduce distress, but to feel more connected to yourself, more emotionally alive, and freer to move through life with greater authenticity and ease.
